Seeking a (Gastroenterologist) Staff Physician to serve our veterans in Kernersville, NC! Sign-on bonus and EDRP assistance available! J-1 Visa applicants are welcome to apply! The Salisbury VA Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated f ull-time (Gastroenterologist) Staff Physician in Kernersville, NC , to lead our compassionate healthcare team. Our facility is equipped with advanced Olympus scopes for comprehensive GI procedures, providing an excellent environment for professional growth. Research collaboration opportunities are available through Wake Forest Baptist Health, enhancing your impact on veteran care. Duties Provide patient-centered care for adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Supervise and support nurse practitioners. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and serve as staff attending for consults. Participate in quality improvement, multidisciplinary teams, and peer review processes. Complete timely medical record documentation. Engage in ongoing professional development and required education. Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students (if assigned). Support and participate in clinical research activities. J-1 visa applicants are welcome to apply.
