Job Description
A large health system in the northern region of North Carolina is excited to welcome a urologist to their team. They were named one of America's Greatest Workplaces 2024! This health system is a not-for-profit integrated entity of 15 medical centers and over 1,800 physicians in more than 800 locations in addition to numerous outpatient surgery centers, medical plazas, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centers, and community health outreach programs. This system is well known for being physician-led and physician-driven. For example, their physicians are in every area of leadership across the organization. That means every strategic discussion has physicians at the table, and every market partners a physician leader with an administrator. The result is a focus on the details that are important to physicians.
Position Highlights:
- Incoming urologist will join 2 physicians and 4 APPs
- Practice is very well-established, approximately 35 years old
- 7 days of call per month, taken from home, with APP support
- Hospitalist group admits patients
- Practice has Da Vinci Xi robots and new technology at hospitals include all digital scopes
- Mobile lithotripsy partnership available for buy in
