Job Description

Description UNC Health Southeastern is currently seeking a full-time Breast Imaging Radiologist (MD/DO) to join our team in Lumberton, NC. This position can be employed or a 1099-contract opportunity. This position will be a dedicated Diagnostic Breast Imaging Specialist and should be fellowship training or have extensive experience in breast imaging. The specialist will focus on the interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.
Position Information:
Will perform procedures in the radiology department, as well as mammography & procedural work in the Breast Center.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday; dayshift only & no call schedule! This position offers 100% breast, NO diagnostic work

Qualifications:
MD/DO BC/BE
in Breast Imaging Radiology, or Diagnostic/Procedural, with extensive experience performing breast procedural work

Located in Robeson County, Lumberton NC is ideally located on I-95 just 20 minutes north of the South Carolina border. Lumberton is one-and-a-half hours from Raleigh and two-and-a-half hours from Charlotte. Popular beach cities, such as Myrtle Beach, are an hour away! The city is full of history, culture and fun. Hike or bike on the Riverwalk near Historic Downtown, canoe down the Lumber River and enjoy the local festivals and downtown events.
