Carteret Health Care Cancer Services is recruiting a board eligible or board certified hematology oncologist. This opportunity is located in Morehead City, NC and the physician will be employed by Carteret Health Care. We have established community cancer practices with support from Advanced Practice Providers. Clinical responsibilities will include the development of treatment plans for newly diagnosed hematology oncology patients and chemotherapy oversight. At our Carteret Health Care Cancer Center, you can expect an outstanding and comprehensive range of oncology services to meet the needs of all patients and their caregivers. We partner with our patients in the fight against cancer and provide state-of-the-art treatment with cancer-fighting therapies. Carteret Health Care's Cancer Program is part of an elite group of hospitals receiving a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Our Cancer Center is an NAPBC accredited center and Carteret Health Care's Cancer Center is the eighth facility in North Carolina to be recognized by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. This recognition signifies that our outpatient hematology-oncology practices meet the highest standards for quality cancer care.
