Job Details:

Practice Setting:

- Inpatient only

Coverage Type:

24-hour call only

Patients Per Shift:

5-6 rounds per day and 1-2 new patient consult

EMR:

4 hours

Required Procedure/Duties:

Preferred only Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry Esophageal Manometry Interpretation Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy Liver Biopsy Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) (preferred)

Upper GI Endoscopy:

with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (preferred)(Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology Pending license accepted, may obtain at offer (Will consider IMLC) - REQUIRED

EUS ERCP

- preferred

BLS, DEA
