Locums About the Facility This is a Level IV trauma facility operating with a 25-bed department, providing inpatient and emergency room services to the regional patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support continuous pediatric and newborn care delivery. Clinical operations are structured on-site to ensure quality care for the pediatric patient population served. About the Facility Location North Dakota offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of community-centered and outdoor activities throughout the state. The region hosts recurring community events including growers markets, county fair series, and boat races that bring residents and visitors together throughout the year. Additional local gatherings such as weekly bingo afternoons, Sunday breakfast buffets, and pub events provide a variety of options for leisure during time away from clinical responsibilities. About the Clinician's Workday The pediatric hospitalist will provide 24-hour call coverage across inpatient and emergency room settings at an on-site facility in North Dakota, beginning in December on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities include coverage of all newborn births, management of pediatric admissions, and rounding and ongoing care for admitted hospital patients. The clinician will admit patients from the emergency room and provide coverage for patients admitted to the hospitalist service. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens assignment.
