Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program What You'll Do Provide general surgical care, including procedures such as abdominal, endoscopy, liver, stomach, gallbladder, appendix, colon, laparoscopic, and spleen surgeries Conduct phone consults, admissions, and rounding on general surgery patients Respond to emergent surgical cases around the clock, 24/7, 365 days/year Collaborate with anesthesia providers and support staff Assist with scheduled surgeries and emergent procedures in a Level IV trauma facility Maintain timely response to call duties, including on-call and callback responsibilities Document patient care thoroughly and ensure safe, quality surgical practices
What You Need Required:
Active medical license in North Dakota Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery Experience with core procedures like abdominal, endoscopy, and laparoscopic surgeries Ability to respond to emergent cases within 20 minutes
Preferred:
Experience with pediatrics, thyroid, pulmonary, or vascular procedures
Not Required:
Amputations, C-sections, hysterectomies, respirator care About the Assignment This assignment is at a reputable facility in Dickinson, ND, providing scheduled and emergency general surgical services. The facility features a 25-bed hospital with both scheduled and emergent surgeries performed throughout the week. Surgeons will be expected to participate in phone consults, admissions, and rounding on general surgery patients, with anesthesia support provided by a CRNA group. Ready to join?
