Valley City, ND Valley City, ND is a charming community located 60 miles west of the Fargo-Moorhead metro area. With a population of 6,500, top-rated school system, four-year college, and excellent parks and recreation, this affordable town offers an ideal quality of life for raising a family.Facility:
This is a well-established clinic that offers comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative environment. The facility features on-site services including Physical Therapy, Diabetes Education, Weight Loss programs, Lab and Radiology/Imaging Services, ultrasound, and mammography. The clinic is conveniently located within a mile of the local hospital.Opportunity:
PHYSICIAN
- Family Medicine (no OB) Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing patient and family-centered care in a community setting. This position offers collaboration with another Family Medicine physician and 2-3 Nurse Practitioners on a team committed to customer service and high-quality care.Job Details:
- Full-time opportunity (1.0 FTE) with 36 patient contact hours per week
- Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm
- Average of 16-20 clinic patients per day
- Limited call coverage (mainly phone calls for nursing home questions and after-hours critical lab callbacks) in a 1:4 rotation
- Epic Electronic Medical Record system
- Contracted with Valley City Public Schools for Sports Medicine coverage and general Health and Well-Being services
- Outreach services include Mental/Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Orthopedic Medicine, General Surgery, and OB/GYN
- Optional inpatient rounding at local hospital and nursing home
- Position involves leading a Care Team and working collaboratively with other healthcare team members
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine required
