Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. In this role, you will provide surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care, including fracture management, joint procedures, and acute injury treatment in hospital and clinic settings. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, interpreting imaging, performing surgeries, coordinating perioperative care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Provide surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care in hospital and clinic settings Evaluate patients, obtain histories, and perform detailed musculoskeletal exams Interpret imaging studies such as X-ray, CT, and MRI to guide treatment plans Perform orthopedic surgeries including fracture fixation and joint procedures Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care and follow-up Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and rehab teams for coordinated care Document encounters, orders, and procedures in the medical record accurately Participate in call coverage and respond to urgent orthopedic consults Ensure adherence to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Required Skills Orthopedic surgery Fracture management Joint replacement and arthroscopy Pre- and postoperative patient management Musculoskeletal imaging interpretation Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Acute trauma and emergency orthopedic care Sterile surgical technique Pain management in orthopedic patients Multidisciplinary team collaboration
