Job Description
Internal Medicine opening
- Whitefield, NH Position Details
- Full-time outpatient opportunity
- Flexible schedule with 36 patient hours and 4 administrative hours per week
- See 16 Äì22 patients per day, primarily adult and elderly populations
- No weekend or holiday shifts
- May participate in day-time call rotation (no after-hours call)
EMR:
Meditech Expanse (with Dragon dictation)- Supported by RN Team Leader and medical assistant
- Participate in community health initiatives and quality improvement projects Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical care: physicals, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide preventive care: wellness visits, immunizations, screenings
- Prescribe and adjust medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with specialists as needed
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and lifestyle changes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality care delivery Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Successful completion of ACGME, AOA, or RCPSC accredited residency
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Comfortable managing own patient panel and practicing independently
- Experience with chronic disease management preferred
