Job Description

Req#: 15580 Per Diem Limited,Varied Shifts Varied Hours for night and weekend call. We are looking for a per diem general cardiologist to assist with evening and weekend call. Exeter Hospital is a 100 bed community hospital that supports general and interventional cardiology.
Requirements:
Completion of accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Board-certified or board eligible general cardiologist, potentially fourth-year interventional fellows or fifth year structural fellows that are general cardiology Board eligible. Successful completion of internship, residency and, if applicable, fellowship Unrestricted license to practice within New Hampshire Current DEA certificate without restriction CPR with AED within 6 months of hire
Major Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patient served. Provides safe, effective, patient centered care. Major duties to include inpatient consultation and rounding; respond to communications from referring providers and patients to include appropriate documentation of the conversation; interpretation of echocardiograms proctoring and interpretation of maximal treadmill tests, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests.
