Job Description
Dartmouth Health is pleased to announce an opening for a Physician Assistant in the Section of Cardiac Surgery. Come explore an opportunity to live and work in the most beautiful part of our country for a program that values your professional fulfillment with a balance between work and life outside the hospital. In this role, the APP will provide and coordinate care and education of patients and families prior to surgery, and while transitioning back to home, including post-operative follow-up. Work in the outpatient clinic setting provides opportunities to assist with the evaluation of elective, urgent, and emergent patients, both in coordination with the surgeons as well as an independent patient panel. Additional responsibilities include in basket management, triaging referrals, and fielding phone calls. In addition, there are ample opportunities to be involved in research. A faculty appointment through Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be requested.
