Job Description

Seeking a Locums Hospital Medicine Physician for an ongoing inpatient role in Rochester, NH. Provide comprehensive care to an underserved adult inpatient population in a collaborative hospital setting. Facility and Clinical Scope 100-bed hospital, no trauma designation On-site coverage; providers are not expected to take calls or be called back after shift Daily census: ~14-24 patients
Admissions:
~4-5 per day
Consults:
~4-6 per day, primarily to behavioral health and rehabilitation Core Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hospital medicine care for adult inpatients Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform daily rounds and create individualized treatment plans Admit and manage new patients during assigned shifts Coordinate consultations, referrals, and interdisciplinary care (nursing, specialists, behavioral health, rehab) Oversee discharge planning and transitions of care Respond to clinical needs during shifts Complete timely, accurate medical documentation Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active New Hampshire medical license Current DEA registration BLS certification
