  • 60268 Job Description A Livingston based client is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent urgent care services to patients from age 0 to 19 years old.
An ideal candidate is a leader who works well collaboratively, values evidence-based practice, and values patient centered care. This candidate should be comfortable treating children and discussing outcomes with children and families. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current NJ medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board certified or board eligible pediatrics Current CPR certification 3+ years of experience (preferred) Responsibilities Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children in urgent care setting Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload Supervise NPs and PAs within state regulations Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
