Job Description

Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center has a new opportunity for a full-time Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician in North Bergen, NJ. Experience Our Newly Redesigned Emergency Department-With Full Expansion Coming in 2027!
Position Profile:

Scribe coverage Patient treatment areas that are outfitted with cardiac, stroke, ventilation, and other special care technologies W2 status with comprehensive benefits program including health, dental, vision, CME allowance, and 401K Palisades Medical Center is one of 18 hospitals in the Hackensack Meridian Health Network. The not-for-profit medical center features a 197-bed hospital. Located on the Hudson River waterfront in North Bergen, N.J., Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center has and continues to meet the changing healthcare needs of Hudson and Southern Bergen counties, serving a population of more than 450,000. The 197-bed not-for-profit medical center focuses on providing quality expert care in a safe environment. The hospital has recently earned an "A" Hospital Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group's most recent review, the only hospital in Hudson County with three consecutive A's. Palisades Medical Center recently opened a newly redesigned Emergency Department featuring modern triage rooms, private treatment spaces, and innovative "flower pod" layouts that improve privacy, reduce noise, and speed access to care. This first phase of a $50 million expansion also includes a Fast Track Unit for minor conditions. Future phases will add dedicated pediatric and behavioral health areas, ultimately doubling the department's size by 2027.
