Job Description

A hospital network is seeking a Neonatologist for a Level
III NICU
in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. This opportunity focuses on providing neonatal care in a collaborative nursery and special care setting with a family-centered approach. About the

Shift:
Day shift
Schedule:
24-hour shifts, 4-6 shifts per month
Hours:
24-hour shifts, occasionally split into 12-hour shifts
Setting:
In-person, Level
III NICU
Responsibilities:
Provide neonatal care for infants in the nursery and special care unit Manage deliveries and consult on newborn care in collaboration with obstetric providers Evaluate, stabilize, and treat neonatal patients in a Level
III NICU
environment Document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic medical record Work within a multidisciplinary care team to support high-quality neonatal outcomes
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Neonatology Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine 1-2 years of neonatal experience
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Level
III NICU
Experience using EPIC Familiarity with newborn nursery and special care workflows
