Job Description

Carlsbad Medical Center / Pecos Valley of New Mexico is seeking a Locum Tenens Orthopaedic Surgeon to provide ongoing coverage due to a long-term permanent vacancy. This is a balanced inpatient and outpatient role with clinic, OR time, and call responsibilities at a Level III Trauma Center.

3 days in clinic 2 OR days (based on procedural volume) Call coverage every other week

patients/day Per shift average: 3 patients Practice Setting Inpatient & Outpatient Orthopaedic Surgery Level III Trauma Center Full clinic staff and anesthesia support available Minimal callback during call shifts; most patients admitted to hospitalist service and followed next day
