• Local Team Collaboration:
• + We take pride in our well-established team at Presbyterian Plains Regional of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.

+ Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.

+ This is part of the Presbyterian System which is a total of 9 hospitals in NM. This 106 bed hospital services Eastern NM and West TX.

• Qualifications:
• + Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. +
• 2027 graduates encouraged to apply.
• + We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.​​
• Scheduling:
• + Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. ​ + As a Nocturnist, you will be working nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. + As a Daytime Hospitalist, you will be working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Key Responsibilities:
• + Will have an average census of 18 per doctor. + Average floor calls of about 80. + NO Procedures. + Most specialists are in-house. + CRNAs manage the 7 ICU beds. + Our EMR is EPIC.

+ Quick drive to Lubbock, TX, Santa FE, NM and Albuquerque, NM. You are also a quick flight to places like DFW and Houston.

• Rewards and Compensation:
• + Day Shift Rate of $1,900 and Night Shift Rate of $2,000. +
• Daytime hospitalist will have a base pay of $346,750 and nocturnist will have a base salary of $365,000.
• + $50,000 sign on bonus. + Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus. + Full benefits including CME allowance. + Relocation assistance.
