Job Description
Description This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver critical care in a supportive medical practice environment. In this role, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly influence patient safety and comfort, making a significant impact on their surgical experience. We focus on high-quality care, and your contributions will help maintain our standards of excellence in patient outcomes. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assessments Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Collaborate with surgical teams to provide seamless care Manage post-anesthesia care and monitor patients' recovery Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices Provide guidance and education to nursing staff as needed Requirements MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico Experience in anesthesiology or completion of a residency in the field Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient safety and quality of care Team player with a collaborative mindset
