• Local Team Collaboration:
• + Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs at Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital.

+ Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.

+ Our physicians are from all over the country, reflecting the unique environment where they willingly fly in monthly.

+ Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.

+ Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

• Qualifications:
• + Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or b oard-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS. + Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico. + Authorized to work in the United States. + New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Scheduling:
• + Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available. + Our emergency department provides single doctor coverage with an APP from 11 am to 11 pm.
• Key Responsibilities:
• + Provide top-quality patient care to a rural emergency department with 12 beds in an open ICU setting, seeing 16,650 patients annually.

+ Foster collaboration and support among team members.

+ Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus.

+ Utilize advanced medical technology and handle transfers through the Convenant Transfer Center.

+ Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

• Compensation:
• + Hourly 1099 compensation is $310 for days and $330 for nights.
