Internal Medicine Physician

Job Title:

Locum Physician - General Medicine Join an innovative healthcare practice dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans. This opportunity allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments while working either at a designated facility or your own office. The practice supports multiple locations across the country, ensuring flexible options tailored to meet the needs of Veterans in the Houston, Nevada area.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct PRN Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved; focus on examinations and reporting. Complete required documentation and submit exam reports, including any necessary addendums. Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes. Maintain clear communication with Veterans and the administrative team.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in METs testing and evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must own a laptop (PC required; no Mac/Apple products). AANP certification and an active, unrestricted medical license required. Willingness to complete DMA training for certification. Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active and unrestricted full medical license. AANP certification. DMA certification is required upon completion of training.
