Attending Physician Rheumatology East Meadow, Long Island, NY Salary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Attending Physician in Rheumatology to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving a diverse patient population and working within a public health system that prioritizes equity, quality, and community impact. In this role, you will: Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including autoimmune and inflammatory diseases Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs Provide consultations and follow-up care for both inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings We require: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Valid and unrestricted medical license in New York State Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development Preferred qualifications: Experience in a hospital or large clinical setting Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems We offer competitive salaries, medical/dental/life insurance, paid time off, sick time, paid holidays, New York State Pension Plan, and other excellent benefits.
