ATTENDING PHYSICIAN- POST ACTUTE CARE FULL-TIME STAFF POSITION
The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking an Attending Physician to join our team of dedicated specialists working in the Medical Department. In this role, you would be responsible for delivering appropriate , compassionate and adequate care to Parker's residents.

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, conveniently located on the Queens-Nassau County border in New Hyde Park, New York, is a non-profit health care facility that offers short term rehabilitation, sub-acute care and nursing home care, as well as community-based health care encompassing home health care, and a hospice program that serves terminally ill patients in their own homes or in nursing facilities, including Parker's nursing home. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population; or within a nursing home environment A medical degree from an accredited medical school Board certification (or eligibility) in a primary care specialty Completion of residency in Internal Medicine Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software
