Job Description
About the Opportunity
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an outpatient clinic team at a mission-driven rural community hospital
- Full-time or Part-time options
- Comprehensive endocrine care focusing on chronic disease management and patient education Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
- Comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging studies relevant to endocrine diseases
- Initiate and manage insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and other endocrine-related devices and therapies
- Participate in call coverage for outpatient endocrinology as needed (minimal or no inpatient call) Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in New York
- DEA certification and ability to obtain hospital privileges Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with managing complex endocrine conditions in outpatient settings Compensation & Benefits
- Hospital-employed status
- Salary range: $206,000 " $340,000 based on experience, with guaranteed base plus incentive package
