Jamestown, NY Job Description:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Neurologist to join a community-based practice offering a unique blend of autonomy and system-wide support. This role combines outpatient neurology with inpatient rounding responsibilities, allowing physicians to maintain a diverse clinical practice. As a solo neurologist in the practice, you will have the opportunity to shape your workflow while benefiting from a strong referral network, integrated technology, and collaboration with a larger healthcare system. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings Provide general neurology consultations and ongoing patient management Perform and interpret EMG studies as part of outpatient care Participate in inpatient rounding and management of acute neurological conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialty providers Interpret or coordinate EEG studies with neurology colleagues Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systems Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on continuity
Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license DEA certification Open to new graduates and experienced physicians Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills Interest in practicing with autonomy while collaborating within a larger system
