Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist for a 200-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts with call, including one weekend per month, focusing on comprehensive gastroenterology care. You will manage general GI clinic and inpatient consults, perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, and treat conditions such as GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. Responsibilities and Duties Provide general GI clinic and inpatient consults Perform colonoscopies and upper endoscopies/EGDs Conduct biopsies, polypectomy, and other standard endoscopic interventions Manage a wide range of GI conditions, including GERD, Barretts, IBD/Crohns, celiac disease, cirrhosis/liver disease, and GI bleeding
