Job Description

An office-based practice in Valley Stream, NY is currently seeking an Endocrinologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders in an outpatient setting. About the

Day Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Hours:
8:30am to 4:30pm, no call
Setting:
Outpatient Responsibilities:
The Endocrinologist will be responsible for: Diagnosing various endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and metabolic disorders Developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition Educating patients about their condition, treatment options, and potential complications Monitoring patients' progress through regular follow-up appointments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Current unrestricted NYS medical license BE/BC in Endocrinology (MD/DO) BLS or ACLS certification required Strong diagnostic skills Proficiency in developing treatment plans Outstanding communication skills Compassionate patient care Attention to detail Strong organizational skills
Desired Skills:
1-3+ years of experience in an outpatient setting Interest in Population Health Management Experience with electronic health records (EHR) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills
