Job Description
Medical Radiographer-Radiology MRI | ACP - Imaging Center
- Position Summary
- At Stony Brook Medicine, A
- Medical Radiographer
- is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population by providing images to help identify problem ares in patients. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.
- Duties of a TH Medical Radiographer in Magnetic Resonance Imaging may include the following but are not limited to:
- + Produces diagnostic exams, positions and transfers patients, provides immobilization devices, selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, selects and operates equipment.
- Initial starting shift will be Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM and must be available to work Saturday & Sunday when needed.

- Required
- :•+ Graduate from a Diagnostic Radiology Technology program.
Special Note:
- If the candidate does not have IV Contrast Injection certification, they must be certified within the first 2 months of hire.
- _If the candidate does not have
ARRT-MRI
certification, they must be certified within the first 12 months of hire._- These certifications must be completed within the allotted time to maintain employment .

- :•+ Outpatient Hospital experience.

- + Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre employment screenings. + Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).
- Failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer.

Anticipated Pay Range:
- The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $101,595 - $128,846 Base The above salary range represents SBUH's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

full-time positions ($4000) + Night shift differential ($15,000), evening shift differential ($10,000) + Inconvenience pay/supplemental shift differential.
