Description Physician (MD/DO) - VA TBI & General Medical Evaluations Watertown, NY (Travel to Syracuse for TBI Exams) 1 Day Per Week Up to Full-Time Opportunity No On-Call Looking for a flexible physician role without nights, weekends, or ongoing patient management? The IMA Group is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to perform VA disability evaluations focused on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) exams in Syracuse, with a home base in Watertown, NY. This opportunity begins at 1 day per week, with the potential to expand up to full-time for providers qualified and interested in performing General Medical evaluations.
Position Highlights:
Flexible 1 day/week schedule No treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
Compensation:
Earn $180 per exam, with full-time potential ranging from $140,000-$150,000 annually Opportunity to expand up to full-time through General Medical exams Meaningful work supporting Veterans Streamlined documentation and administrative support Compensation based on exam volume and expanded service capabilities
Responsibilities:
Perform VA TBI disability evaluations in Syracuse Review medical records and relevant clinical documentation Complete thorough and timely evaluation reports Maintain accurate and objective documentation
Qualifications:
MD or DO with an active New York license Must meet VA requirements to perform TBI examinations Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to travel from Watertown to Syracuse for TBI evaluations Providers qualified and willing to perform General Medical exams may qualify for expanded schedules up to full-time This role is ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, supplemental income, or a pathway to a predictable full-time schedule without traditional clinical demands.
