100 Miles Advance Your Career in Interventional Radiology! We are seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist Assistant (RSA) for a travel opportunity in an Interventional Radiology setting. This role provides advanced patient care services under physician supervision while assisting with complex image-guided procedures and delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Travel Contract Opportunity Day Shift Schedule:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Work alongside experienced Interventional Radiology physicians and clinical teams Perform advanced image-guided procedures in a fast-paced environment Expand your expertise in a specialized procedural setting Key Responsibilities Provide patient care within approved scope of practice and assigned privileges. Perform patient assessments and deliver age-appropriate care. Assist physicians with Interventional Radiology procedures and patient management. Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including: Upper GI studies Small bowel follow-through Enemas Perform and assist with image-guided procedures, including: Joint injections Paracentesis and thoracentesis Abscess drain placement Bone marrow biopsies Ultrasound and CT-guided biopsies Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support excellent patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and PHI confidentiality. Qualifications Experience in Interventional Radiology procedures preferred. Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and staff. Commitment to safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
