Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 42-day assignment in New York, commencing Jan 4, 2027. This role involves a Monday-Friday clinic schedule, with dedicated surgery days on Tuesdays and Fridays, supported by call duties including 1-2 weeknights and 24-hour weekend coverage. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload including outpatient GYN services, emergency deliveries, C-sections, and various gynecological surgeries for patients 36 weeks and beyond. Responsibilities and Duties Provide clinic coverage Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Conduct surgery on designated Tuesdays and Fridays. Manage 1-2 weeknights of call each week, with ideal support from a CNM. Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage (Saturday/Sunday), typically supported by a CNM on first call. Perform outpatient GYN services, including well-woman exams, birth control management, and IUD insertion/removal. Handle emergency deliveries and C-sections. Perform circumcisions. Manage deliveries for patients 36 weeks and beyond. Perform emergency gynecological surgeries, such as torsions, ectopics, and D&C.

Epic Setting:
Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient services for deliveries and surgeries.
Call Schedule:
1-2 weeknights and 24-hour weekend coverage (Saturday/Sunday); no Monday call following a weekend of call.
Staffing Mix:
Clinic support includes an LPN, reception, and office manager; CNM support is typically provided for call.
Requirements:
