Job Description

Facility in Batavia, OH seeking Outpatient Wound Care locums coverage
Rates:
$230/hr
Opportunity Highlights Practice Setting:
100% Outpatient Wound Care Clinic.
Assignment Duration:
December 22, 2025, to March 31, 2026 (Locum coverage).
Schedule:
Full-time, predictable weekday schedule (exact shift times TBD, typically day shifts). No call, no nights, no weekends.
Patient Volume:
Manage a robust average of patients per day.
EMR:
Documentation is managed using Epic.
Privileging:
Temporary privileging potential is available to expedite the start date. Key Duties & Procedures You will provide comprehensive wound management for adult patients, utilizing advanced and topical therapies.
Wounds Treated:
Treat and manage a wide range of wounds, including Diabetic, Pressure, and Vascular Ulcers, as well as Surgical, Traumatic, and Chronic Wounds (eg, Gangrene, Pilonidal Cysts, Radiation Injury).
Treatments Used:
Advanced Therapies:
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) supervision, Negative Pressure-Assisted Wound Closure, Bioengineered Skin, Skin Grafting.
Procedures:
Debridement, Incision and Drainage (I&D), Unna Boot application, and Total Contact Casting.
Education:
Initiate preventative measures and educate patients/support on proper wound dressing and ulcer prevention techniques. Requirements To be considered, candidates MUST provide:
Licensure:
Active Ohio (OH) license is
REQUIRED.
Certifications:
BLS is
REQUIRED. ACLS
is preferred (for HBOT supervision).
Experience:
Previous experience in treating and managing complex wounds is necessary.
