REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Obstetrics:
Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.)
Labor and Delivery:
Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th
Degree Lacerations Gynecology:
Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation, Surgical Gynecology - Open
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in
OB/GYN Licenses:
Active OH license or willingness to obtain
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS
(highly preferred; must be willing to obtain during credentialing)
Other Qualifications:
Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (within 30 days) Duties & Responsibilities Provide inpatient OB/GYN laborist coverage for the L&D unit Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs Provide GYN emergency room coverage for unassigned patients Provide call coverage for the midwife during the night shift (7p-7a) Collaborate with on-site anesthesia, nursing staff, and CNM
