Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Full-Time Primary Care Physician for locum tenens coverage near Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute care visits, and patient education across diverse populations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based guidelines, complete accurate documentation, and ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive, chronic, and acute care services Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care Order and interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans accordingly Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and medical records Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medications, and lifestyle modification Adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines and quality metrics Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards Participate in handoffs to ensure continuity of care during and after assignments Communicate effectively with Alumni Healthcare Staffing team regarding scheduling and assignment needs Required Skills Primary care medicine Chronic disease management Acute care evaluation and treatment Preventive care and wellness counseling Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Clinical decision-making and triage Patient and family education Regulatory and compliance knowledge
