Sep 04, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents, and fellows. Selected applicants will join a highly interactive and exciting multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment at the University of Pennsylvania as integral members of the Division of Gastroenterology and will have opportunities to teach the GI fellowship and internal medicine residency programs at the Perelman School of Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits and active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH) and/or Penn Medicine at Radnor (PMR) that specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, neurogastroenterology, esophagology, hepatology, advanced endoscopy, and/or general gastroenterology. Responsibilities include seeing patients in clinic as well as performing endoscopy. There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership.
