Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Physician to join our client's team for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This role commences on Nov 30, 2026, with a consistent schedule involving a standard 5-day work week and 8-hour day shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of outpatient cases across various specialties, with the exclusion of cardiac and obstetric procedures. Responsibilities and Duties Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for outpatient surgical and medical procedures. Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans. Monitor patients continuously during anesthesia, adjusting dosages as necessary. Provide post-anesthesia care and management in the recovery phase. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period. Additional Information Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required. Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred. The work setting is primarily outpatient. The scope of practice includes all specialties except cardiac and obstetrics. Typical shift hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
