Job Description
Description This contract position offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals specializing in neonatology to make a significant impact on the lives of newborns and their families within a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in providing specialized medical care to premature and critically ill newborns. You will collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care, all while contributing to ongoing educational initiatives. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates in various clinical settings Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of newborn patients Administer treatments and therapies as per established guidelines Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans Educate and support families regarding infant care and treatment plans Monitor and evaluate patient progress and respond to changes in health status Participate in neonatal resuscitation and critical care procedures Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to comply with health regulations Requirements Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology Clinical experience with neonatal patients preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Valid medical license to practice in the state Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
