Job Description
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for part-time pain management position within a group family practice. Experience with management of chronic pain preferred but not required. Seeking a candidate to work 10 hours/week Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities Prescribing and adjustment of narcotic pain medications to assist in improving chronic pain for our patients Performing pill counts and ordering random urine drug screens to discourage prescription misuse/abuse Maintaining patient compliance with practice narcotic guidelines Understanding and complying with state and federal opiate prescription laws Requirements Board Certified Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Pennsylvania Active DEA License Expected hours: 10.0 per week
