As a Locum MD or DO in Hematology Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and ensure the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities Provide patient consultations and assessments for hematology oncology cases Diagnose and develop treatment plans for blood disorders and cancers Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain clear and accurate patient medical records Advise on the latest treatment protocols and best practices Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options Participate in continuing education and professional development Engage with families to provide support and education Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Hematology Oncology or eligibility Associate level experience in a clinical setting Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare Ability to work effectively in a team environment Current medical licensure in the state of practice
