Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Seeking Hematology/Oncology Opportunity Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania! Join UPMC Hillman Cancer Center - (Harrisburg PA) is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to offering comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. We are committed to advancing medical knowledge and providing cutting-edge treatments in the field of hematology and oncology.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hematologist/Oncologist to diagnose and treat -Malignant Hematology, to join our dynamic team and help us build out our malignant hematology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Become a part of our adoptive immunotherapy program with Bispecific T cell Engagers for myeloma and lymphoma and help us develop our CAR T-cell program. Collaborate with the Hillman Cancer team in Pittsburgh to establish a comprehensive acute leukemia diagnosis and treatment program. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, participation in clinical trials, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. Join us as we kick off our new oncology fellowship program in July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with malignant hematologic disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in clinical research and trials. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Stay updated with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology. Valid medical license to practice in PA or eligible for licensing. Strong clinical and research background in malignant hematology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient-centered care.
