Job Description

Family Practice Center, P.C., is currently seeking a Full-Time Physician for our Mechanicsburg office. Experienced Providers and new grads are encouraged to apply. Family Practice Center is a large group of primary care physicians in Central PA. We offer a wide range of services including family medicine, pediatrics, counseling services, onsite lab and x-ray, and much more. Family Practice operates 40 office locations in 14 Central PA counties. A Physician's necessitates providing appropriate timely assistance and advice to health care professionals as appropriate. A Physician instructs, monitors, and advises junior medical officers or other health care professionals as appropriate. Most physicians work constructively and collaboratively with other health care professionals in attaining high standards of health care in their clinical experience.
Supervision Received:
Appropriate oversight as needed from peer review committee and administrative medical directors.
Supervision Exercised:
Supervising physician assistants and certified nurse practitioners as well as support staff including RN, LPN, MA, etc.
Typical Physical Demands:
Being able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, capable of adapting to a fast-paced office environment; may need to assist in lifting or positioning patients of all sizes; vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range.
Typical Working Condition:
Out-patient office and/or nursing home environment
Potential Exposure:
Blood and bodily fluids, sharps, cavicide wipes, envirocide cleaner, Lysol, Clorox cleaners, pathogens, vaccines, medications, hand soap, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, other acidic and base preparations.
