Job Description

Position Requirements Description Anesthesiologist opportunity with a dynamic team at Pottstown Hospital in Pennsylvania, along the Schuylkill River. The 232-bed Pottstown Hospital, located in Pottstown, PA, is a voluntary nonprofit hospital that is part of Tower Health. This short-term acute care facility has a number of treatment specialties, including sports medicine; joint replacement; arthroscopic surgery; osteoporosis, arthritis; bodily injuries, trauma, and fractures; and behavioral health.

Schedule:
A variety of shifts are available. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements

    M.D./D.O.
    Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
    • ECFMG and FLEX
    • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
