Job Description

Crozer Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist for the health system's 24-hour psychiatric Crisis Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations to patients who present to the service, as well as in-person consults to hospitalized patients receiving medical care. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide high quality care to all patients. The candidate will function as a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality care to patients seeking treatment for psychiatric emergencies. The candidate must be open to medical student and Advanced Practice Provider supervision and training, and will provide clinical oversight to psychiatry residents as part of their clinical rotation. The ideal candidate will coordinate care with outside providers and hospital disciplines when clinically appropriate. This is a day shift position, Monday-Friday, with no required call. Extra compensation may be earned should a provider be interested in additional hours. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new graduate or an experienced psychiatrist! Requirements :
