Job Description
Crozer Health is seeking a full-time (15 shifts monthly) or part-time (8 shifts monthly) Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist for the health system's 24-hour Psychiatric Crisis Center. The Physician will work nights/weekends in our psychiatric emergency center working with a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations to patients who present to the service, as well as in-person consults to hospitalized patients receiving medical care. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide high quality care to all patients. The candidate will function as a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality care to patients seeking treatment for psychiatric emergencies. The ideal candidate will coordinate care with outside providers and hospital disciplines when clinically appropriate. Requirements :
Psychiatric and Medical license C-L fellowship training or experience is a plus, but not required Current MD license in the State of Pennsylvania required, plus current DEA registration.This position includes:
