Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking EM locums coverage

Rates:

$310/hr Physicians for locum tenens coverage beginning April 15, 2026. The facility is looking for EM physicians to help cover a variety of shifts due to provider turnover and leave coverage.

Ongoing Schedule Multiple shift options available: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM 9:00 AM 6:00 PM 11:00 AM 9:00 PM 2:00 PM 12:00 AM 9:00 PM 7:00 AM Estimated 64 shifts per month across the provider group. Practice Environment Level II Trauma Center Emergency department supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): Typically 2 APPs per shift 1 APP overnight Providers work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary emergency department team.

Patient Population Approximately:

70% Adult patients 0% Pediatric patients Common Cases Motor vehicle accidents Falls and trauma cases Chest pain Abdominal pain Headaches Respiratory infections Allergic reactions Pneumonia COPD exacerbations Burns Stroke Sepsis ENT and orthopedic emergencies Procedures Emergency physicians perform a range of procedures including: Airway stabilization Fracture management and casting Emergency diagnosis and treatment Management of surgical emergencies ENT and orthopedic interventions

Epic Credentialing Temporary and full privileges available. Travel & Reimbursement Travel reimbursement includes: Airfare (economy seating with one checked bag) Lodging up to $175 per night Rental car (mid-size vehicle or seasonal SUV allowance) Mileage at IRS standard rate Parking and ground transportation Submission Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC eligibility required ACLS certification required DEA license required Minimum 1 year of experience required
