Position Type:

Locum tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician / Medical Oncologist Job Requirements / Qualifications Board Certification in Medical Oncology (MO) required•board-certified hematology/oncology physicians preferred Active medical license highly preferred; candidates with IMLC or those needing state licensure will be considered Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology (outpatient and inpatient care) Ability to take scheduled call (phone and in-person consults) in addition to regular day shifts Willingness/availability for potential ongoing, full-time assignment for at least one year Preference for local or drive-in candidates (one flight per month compensated) Responsibilities•Hematology/Oncology Clinical Duties Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings Manage an average of 15 outpatients per day, including chemotherapy/infusion oversight and symptom management Perform inpatient consults and participate in on-call consult coverage (1:3 rotation) Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and clinic staff Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinate care with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology teams Document clinical encounters and treatment plans in the electronic medical record in a timely manner Why Join This Locum Tenens Opportunity?
