Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist - Opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee Opus Pathology, a private pathology group, is seeking a board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our collegial team serving a respected teaching hospital in Memphis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled pathologist who values collaborative practice, academic interaction, and strong hospital relationships. Position Highlights Full-time Anatomic & Clinical Pathology position Practice based at a teaching hospital with resident interaction opportunities Serve in a Medical Director role with leadership responsibilities Perform a broad range of surgical pathology cases Frozen section coverage required (PA assisted) ROSE (Rapid On-Site Evaluation) experience preferred (cytotechnologist assisted) Strong general pathology diagnostic skills essential Supportive, physician-led private pathology group Experienced Pathology Assistants and dedicated support staff on site Collegial environment with excellent clinical relationships Tumor board participation Candidate Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Strong diagnostic pathology skills across a broad case mix Comfortable performing frozen sections independently Experience with or willingness to perform ROSE procedures Leadership and communication skills suited for Medical Director responsibilities Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, hospital administration, and laboratory staff What We Offer Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits package Supportive team culture with strong administrative and technical support Opportunity to practice in a vibrant medical community Memphis offers affordable living, outstanding food and music culture About the Practice We are a well-established private pathology group committed to high-quality patient care, professional collaboration, and long-term physician success.
