Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our collegial and well-established team at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, a new, state-of-the-art hospital located in beautiful coastal North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a high-quality practice with a predictable schedule, supportive care team model, and outstanding work life balance. Practice Highlights Employed position with a compressed schedule: Monday through Friday, week on/week off Only four weekend shifts per year Bread-and-butter anesthesia practice No cardiac, trauma, or acute pediatric cases Care team model supporting eight sites daily Seven operating rooms plus Labor and Delivery Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation package $75,000 sign-on and commencement bonus (prorated based on FTE) Exceptional benefits including retirement plan with employer matching Malpractice coverage with tail insurance provided $7,500 annual CME allowance (prorated based on FTE) 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Location Highlights Elizabeth City offers the charm of a close-knit coastal community with easy access to outdoor recreation.
