UNC Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to provide per diem virtual teleacute services to a variety of patients at multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients.
About This Position:
? Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute. ? Variable shifts; Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ? Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older. ? High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services. ? Candidate must be licensed in North Carolina. ? No call. ? EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.
Ideal Candidate:
? 2+ years of experience is preferred. ? Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease. ? Telemedicine experience is a plus but not required. ? Open-minded and flexible with change. ? MD/DO, NCMB
Professional Experience Requirements:
? Prefer prior inpatient experience.

Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
