Integrative Mental Health Physician (Telehealth)

Integrative Mental Health Physician / Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Telehealth + Holistic Care) Position Overview Integrative Medicine and trauma-informed wellness practice seeking a compassionate and forward-thinking Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing virtual care team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a provider passionate about whole-person care, mental wellness, lifestyle medicine, and evidence-informed integrative approaches to stress-related conditions and emotional health. The position is primarily telehealth-based, with approximately 1-2 in-office days per month for collaborative care meetings, training, or specialty services. Position Highlights Flexible telehealth scheduling Independent contractor opportunity Primarily virtual client assessments and follow-ups Collaborative interdisciplinary wellness environment Training provided in integrative and holistic wellness modalities Administrative and nursing support for implementation of care plans Opportunity to participate in concierge wellness programming and IV therapy oversight Credentialing/onboarding support with insurance providers including Healthfirst Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments for mental health, stress-related concerns, lifestyle factors, and emotional wellness Develop individualized treatment recommendations and wellness care plans within scope of licensure Evaluate clients for integrative behavioral health therapies and supportive wellness services Provide clinical oversight and physician orders, when appropriate, for therapeutic programming and wellness protocols Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, wellness practitioners, and care coordinators to support continuity of care Maintain compliant medical documentation and follow evidence-based standards of practice Participate in onboarding and training related to integrative wellness therapies and trauma-informed care approaches Support clients in addressing contributing lifestyle, behavioral, and psychosocial factors impacting overall health Integrative Services & Training Exposure Providers may receive training and collaborative exposure to wellness modalities including: Breathwork and nervous system regulation techniques Emotional wellness and stress-management interventions Trauma-informed care models Mind-body therapeutic approaches Lifestyle and behavioral health coaching frameworks Acupressure-informed wellness practices Integrative IV therapy protocols Somatic and body-based therapeutic support modalities Brain reprocessing and resilience-focused therapeutic frameworks (within licensed scope and evidence-informed application) QualificationsMD/DO Applicants Active unrestricted medical license Board certification or experience in: Psychiatry Family Medicine Integrative Medicine Functional Medicine Internal Medicine Addiction Medicine Lifestyle Medicine Telehealth experience preferred NP Applicants Active PMHNP or relevant advanced practice licensure Experience in behavioral health, trauma-informed care, or integrative wellness preferred Comfortable working in collaborative interdisciplinary settings Ideal Candidate We are seeking providers who: Value patient-centered and holistic approaches to care Understand the relationship between stress, trauma, lifestyle, and overall wellness Are interested in innovative mental health and integrative care models Communicate with empathy and professionalism Thrive in flexible, collaborative telehealth environments Schedule & Compensation Flexible telehealth hours Part-time or contract-based opportunities available Compensation based on experience, credentials, and service volume Hybrid opportunity with minimal in-office requirements
